Why is the wordcount on the platform different from that of other tools (Word for example)?
Word counts can differ from one SAAS solution to another depending on what the solution consider a "word" to be. It's called the "tokenisation" process (rules).
These rules include how they handle punctuation, contractions, compound words, and language-specific features.
For instance, our algorithm ignores special characters and numbers when calculating the wordcount, unlike other SAAS solutions.
