PEMT – What is full PEMT?

Full post-editing needs to be of the highest quality. This is the most common and preferred type of post-editing as it's intended to be published.
The translation should be the same as a human translation: comprehensible, accurate, fluent, natural and of high quality stylistically. The grammar and the punctuation should be correct.
Meaning is a priority, the target must be completely faithful to the source text's meaning.
For the style, the translator should leave a perfectly understandable segment unchanged.
For the syntax, the translator should pay attention to the verbal person of the sentences and the verbal tenses.
For the terminology, the translator should use a concordance search in the TM in order to keep consistency with the previous translation. They should pay special attention to acronyms that are often erroneously translated.
